Sarah Jane's Giftware Collection features a selection of her
characterful and colourful paintings. May things inspire her but
mostly she draws her ideas simply from observing people and human
behaviour.
Sarah adds, "I almost never use reference, preferring instead to rely
on imagination. I do have a mirror though, whihc is useful when I am
struggling with a figure. If there is no one around to model for me, I
can often be found posing ridiculously in front of it, hoping that I
can remember what I see when I get back to my easel." |
